Use of preposition "Of and " 's "

Possession:

Of : Used for non alive things such as Chair, Table, Wall etc.
‘s : used for person, group of people, animals, organization, country .
Examples:
The leg of chair is broken.
My father’s house is very nice.

Expression of quantity:

A lot of students watch vedio lectures.
A number of people study English.
Lots of animals live in zoo.
A great ful deal of students hates exams.
Majority / Minority of cats eat mice.
A couple of super horses were seen at the mall.
All of students hate exams.
